1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains how entry fees and payments on the Virtual Esports platform are handled. It is written around the core rule: you should never pay for something you didn't get, and you should never be charged twice. Refunds, where due, are processed to the original payment method.
2. Event cancelled by Virtual Esports
If we cancel a match or competition before it starts, all entry fees paid for that event are refunded in full. Refunds are initiated automatically and appear in your account within a reasonable processing window.
3. Platform cancellation or technical failure
If a match cannot be played because of a failure on our side — a technical fault, a match that never opens, or a platform error that prevents participation — you are entitled to a refund of the entry fee for that match.
4. Duplicate payments
If you are accidentally charged more than once for the same entry, the duplicate charge is refunded in full. Please contact support and we will resolve it promptly.
5. Failed payments
If a payment fails, no entry is created and no charge is made. If a payment fails after being partially processed, any amount actually deducted is refunded automatically.
6. User cancellation before the match starts
If you cancel your slot before a match starts, a refund may be available. Because entry fees fund real, limited slots, the amount refundable depends on when you cancel and the rules shown for that specific competition at the time you register. Where a cancellation window is displayed for a match, the rules of that window apply.
7. Match already started
Once a match has started, entry fees are non-refundable, except where a failure on our side is responsible (see section 3). This is because the slot has been used and results may already be recorded and ranked.
8. Prize-related issues
Prizes are funded and paid by the operator as set out in the applicable competition rules. If a prize is not credited correctly after a verified result, we will correct it. This policy governs refunds of entry fees, not the payment of prizes, which is handled under the competition rules.
9. How to request a refund
If you believe a refund is due under this policy, email hello@virtualesport.in with your registered account details, the match or payment in question, and a short explanation. We aim to review every request and respond within a reasonable time. Where a refund is approved, it is processed to your original payment method as soon as practically possible.
